We'll be talking about our project at the UW iSchool Capstone Event on Tuesday evening, June 4, 2019. An important visual aspect at this showcase is our project poster that encapsulates our many months of work on a 24 x 36 storyboard.
Design-wise there was a lot to consider in the construction of our poster. I worked to draft several iterations that presented the main points of our project as clearly and concisely as possible while incorporating feedback on structure and layout throughout the process. Collaboratively rendered, our final poster presented the most significant information from our six-month project in a tidy and straightforward fashion, making use of the school colors while also including some images of the archives and the materials we worked with.
